I had a cozy stay in a Compact Room, and I loved how clean everything was – it felt like a little luxury getaway! The lounge area was perfect for relaxing, and the game room was a fun surprise for some downtime. The room was a bit cold at night, but overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back! 😊

The unique church conversion offered a fascinating atmosphere during our stay. The kids loved the vibrant bar area, and the friendly staff made us feel right at home. Being a short walk from main attractions made exploring the city super convenient for our family.
In my wife's opinion, the rooms could benefit from better soundproofing, especially during lively evenings at the bar.

The vibe in the bar area was amazing—perfect for unwinding after a busy day! 😍 Just a heads up, though, noise can be an issue if you're near the entrance, so keep earplugs handy.

The bunk room was cozy, but seriously lacked space for luggage.

The Bunk Hotel packs a punch with its delicious options, especially the vibe at their bar and restaurant area—perfect for snacking on some local delights after a long day of exploring. Plus, the addition of William the cat lounging around made the space feel super cozy and inviting! I appreciated the self-serve check-in that kept things chill for my arrival.
While the vibes are cool, if you're in a pod near the entrance, be prepared for a constant parade of chatter and foot traffic. And let's be real, those doors bang like a rock concert when they shut, especially at night. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to keep the earplugs handy.

Consider bringing your own kettle for late-night snacks, as the hostel's kitchen may have limited options.

missingWrote a review on Aug 06comfortable bedcool lighting
It was just a fine choice for an overnight stay in Utrecht with reasonable value. The bed was comfortable and the cool lighting system in the pod added a nice touch. If you want a quiet night, try to avoid the pods near the bar area.

missingWrote a review on Aug 04old churchsecure storageunique ambiancetight quarters
Unique design of the old church creates a distinct ambiance that enhances the experience. The lockable drawer under the bunk provides a secure spot for storing small luggage, making it a bit easier to manage your stuff in the compact living space.
Rooms are definitely on the small side, and the layout could use a rethink. For instance, the sink jammed into a corner under clothes hooks doesn’t make sense, and without adequate towel hooks, you’re left fumbling for a place to hang your towels. Plus, I noticed a definite lack of sound-proofing. noise from the vibrant dining area made it tough to catch some Z's, especially if you have an early start. Lastly, the heating situation in the bunk was not ideal, causing a bit of discomfort during the night. Oh, and access to the top bunks? Not the most graceful experience thanks to that awkward ladder.

It was just a good pick for a weekend stopover in Utrecht with value for money. The bathrooms were clean, which is always appreciated. Just remember, the dorms can get hot, so stay cool with a fan if you can.
